Thomas Lee Investigations is a licensed private investigation practice based in Medford, working throughout Southern Oregon. Criminal defense is the core of the work — fact development, witness location, and investigative support for defense attorneys and legal teams — alongside locating people, background and due diligence, surveillance, and records research.
I came to investigation after twenty-five years in public safety, as a sheriff’s deputy and EMT, working corrections and training, and running training for search and rescue teams.
What That
Background Gives
Fifteen years in emergency medical services matter on any case where injuries are at issue. I know what injuries look like, how they are caused, how a patient gets assessed at a scene, and what does and does not end up written down.
The rest of it taught me how institutional records get made — who writes them, what gets captured, what routinely does not, and where they tend to be thin.
